Academics:
Academics consists of naval history and a little of American history as well. We learn the importance of naval power, by reveiwing how it has helped us win wars in the course of American history. From the battles of the colonials to the wars of today. The navy has been there and has been a great driving force in the pursuit of justice and the American way of life.The way that the Academics team competes is through a series of test. This year the Commander of the Academic team is c/MCPO Shannon, R, this is his second year commanding it.

Orienteering:
The Orienteering team teaches cadets how to use a compass and to read a map. The map reading is based on military standards.The orienteering team takes us to parks and forest areas to give us a hands on field training experience like no other. The Orieentering team is Commanded by c/ENS Vallin,S, this is his second year commanding the Orienteering team.
